Workplace Stress

Stress and mental health issues will be faced by most of us, at some point in our lives. A small amount of stress can be useful to us, can increase focus and give us motivation, but when that stress is long term and sustained the results can be catastrophic. Stress can cause serious health problems, from high blood pressure to heart attacks and can have a significant effect on our quality of life. Mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are very common, with 1 in 4 of us likely to experience problems during the course of our life. In the workplace people with mental health issues can often struggle to maintain mental and emotional wellbeing and can find that they have little to no choice but to try to cope until they are unable to do so. For many of us, life can be really tough sometimes and when problems hit, we are left with little in the way of support.

Stress at Work reduces productivity

Under existing health and safety legislation employers have a duty to undertake risk assessments and manage activities to reduce the incidence of stress at work.
By reducing stress in the workforce employers can increase productivity, improve motivation and make for a more harmonious working environment.
As an NLP and Advanced EFT Practitioner, I provide a modern, personalised approach, aimed at tackling the root of the problem and setting up short and long term strategies for stress reduction and management.
